Mission Statement

The 193RD Regiment Regional Training Institute (RTI) will provide Combat Arms, Leadership, Military Occupational Specialty (MOS), Additional Skill Identifier (ASI), Officer Candidate School (OCS), Noncommissioned Officer Education System (NCOES) and General Studies training for the Army National Guard (ARNG), United States Army Reserve (USAR) and the Active Component (AC) Soldiers. We will form and refine the Leadership and Supervisory skills in Officer and NCO personnel to enhance force capability. The 193rd RTI will serve as the flagship unit of the DEARNG by hosting traditional and special events as required by The Adjutant General.

The 193rd will also fulfill its additional duty as the ARNG Signal TASS Battalion (1ST STB) by providing quality assurance and guidance to the other ARNG signal schools.

Our Philosophy

The 193RD Regiment Regional Training Institute (RTI) philosophy is to instruct Officers and Noncommissioned Officer Soldiers in the basic tenets of leadership, management and skills so they can develop and in turn improve the Army. We believe in leadership by example and always leading from the front, better management through education and experience.
