2003 Lottery Information

GUIDELINES FOR USE OF FACILITIES:
The sponsor must be present each day when other members of the immediate family are occupying quarters. Smoking prohibited in all Federal Buildings. No pets allowed on post. Speed Limit 15 MPH and is enforced for the safety of everyone. There is not a boat ramp on Post; therefore, no privately owned boats or jet skis may be launched in the Salt Pond. Quiet Time is 11:00 pm to 7:00 am. Only the sponsor may sign out a boat or any equipment from the Billeting Office. Children must be accompanied by an adult in the Recreation Hall, Fitness Room and while visiting the Salt Pond area. Swimming, boating and use of the dock is at your own risk. Check out time is 10:00 am without exception. Quarters are to be cleaned so that the next arrival will not have to do so. Areas to be cleaned are kitchen (including all appliances), bathrooms, all carpeting vacuumed, and all surrounding outside areas policed. Trash must be removed from quarters and place in trash receptacles located beside buildings: 115, 125 and 150. Do not leave any disposable trash inside quarters or placed in courtesy brown receptacles (located on grounds). If we have furnished you with linens, please return the linens to the Billeting Office when checking out. The use of personal linens is encouraged. Towels are not provided. Linens only are returned. Pillows, bed pads, and bedspreads remain. A representative from the Billeting Office will do a walk-through inspection at time of clearing.

*Local Activities* The Post is located 3 blocks from the Atlantic Ocean, approx 14 miles from Ocean City, MD, and 10 miles from Rehoboth Beach, DE. Local activities in local fliers not associated with BBTS include: jetski/boat rentals, cycling/rentals, fishing charter/surf, crabbing/claming, miniature/regulation golf, amusement rides and Board Walk shops, outlet shopping, swimming/surfing and dining for all tastes and budgets.

Chargeable Quarters Application Form
National Guard personnel and retirees are required to provide information for lodging purposes for Chargeable Quarters. Please prepare the Application Form and fax or mail to the Bethany Beach Lodging Office.

Annual Lottery Information
Only one military member of each family may apply for vacation use for the drawing date. This year’s lottery drawing date is 21 MARCH 2003. Cutoff time for accepting applications is 1630 on 20 MARCH 2003. After 1 APRIL 2003, availability will be on a first come, first served basis. Refer to this fiscal years guidance.

Military Utilization
Units or groups planning on using the Bethany Beach Training Site for training need to contact the Housing Officer as soon as possible to determine facility space availablity. An offiicial request needs to be prepared and sent to the Housing Officer for coordination and support of the unit. To make arrangements contact the Housing Officer at 302-843-7900.
