An UH1V (Huey) helicopter flies overtop Mt. Rushmore, where the troops prepare to land. Two aircraft and crews that are self-deploying to Ft. Lewis, Wash., were grounded  in Rapid City, South Dakota due to bad weather conditions.

Delaware's helicopters in await the weather pattern change in South Dakota's hanger. Our crews received outstanding support from the SD Army National Guard.

The two UH1V (Huey) helicopters depart Rapid City, South Dakota, en route to Fort Lewis, Wash. to begin their federal active duty deployment to back fill the active duty Medivac Company stationed at Fort Lewis that was deployed overseas.
