FORT DIX, N.J. –Soldiers from 261st Signal Brigade, Dover Del. and its subordinate units arrived here Saturday to commence Grecian Firebolt 2001, the largest peacetime, global communications exercise in the world.

Officer Candidate School Graduation 2001
In July, Officer Candidate School Class 44 graduated in a ceremony held at the Bethany Beach Training Site.

262 Maintenance takes 2nd place in 33rd Annual Phillip A Connelly Award
On Sunday July 22nd, 2001, Brig. Gen. Ronald B. Stewart presented the 33rd Philip A. Connelly Award to the 262nd Maintenance Company for Training Year 2000.

Governor visits 945th Family Day Celebration
The 945th Collection and Classification unit took time to enjoy a warm summer day and good company at their "family day" over the July drill weekend. Family members mingled with soldiers and were banqueted with traditional barbecue foods at the Milford Veterans of Foreign Wars.

142nd Aeromed participates in Joint Patriot 2001
In June, members of the 142nd Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron ventured to Fort Drum, NY to participate in "Joint Patriot 2001." The exercise is sponsored by the National Guard Bureau and employs U.S. military and multinational forces in a joint training environment.

Thirty pounds of spaghetti in 15 minutes
Thirty pounds of spaghetti and 350 meatballs sounds like it could feed an army. Well, not quite - but it could help the Army feed nearly 100 hungry high school football players participating in the 46th annual Blue-Gold All Star Football Game.
