Delaware National Guard 259th Tropo receives Connelly Award By Staff Sgt. Andrew Scott, 1/444th Mobile Public Affairs Detachment Staff Sgt. Harry LeGates, Jr. of the 259th Signal Co. Tropo, Harrington, Dela., accepted the Connelly Award for Excellence in Culinary Arts from Brig. Gen. Ronald B. Stewart on July 13.   LeGates modestly accepted the award on behalf of his company. He praised the 259th for their teamwork in the field and for their their military effectiveness in setting up food service sites to support the troops during their training exercise. Each year hundreds of military chefs compete nationally for the Connelly Award.
