Army National Guard receives Stellar Award for 12 years without
mishap

Maj. Gen. Frank D. Vavala, state
of Delaware Adjutant General, presented the National Guard Stellar
Award to the Delaware Army National Guard for 12 years with No
Class A or B aviation or ground mishaps. Brig.
Gen. Ronald Stewart, Assistant Adjutant General and State Safety and
Occupational Health Chairperson, accepted the award on behalf of
Delaware soldiers during the 2002 Safety/Occupational Health
Conference.
