Members of the 280th Signal Battalion and the 259th TROPO Company deployed to six locations within the state, setting up a communications network that provided voice and data service at locations that will be used next month during a joint Field Training Exercise (FTX) with the 72nd Troop Command.

Both Line of Site (LOS) and TROPO systems were used to network between Bethany Beach Training Site, Georgetown Airport, the C&D Canal near Middletown, Delaware City, and New Castle County Rifle Range.
