Blue Hen Chapter News – Signal Corps Regimental Association
By Maj. Jane Zak

The Blue Hen Chapter held its Annual Elections for Officers on November 22. During the chapter social that followed the elections, Chapter President Col. Hank McCann reflected on accomplishments to date and discussed the goals for 2003. He emphasized that "During the first year the BHC concentrated on becoming a legal entity as established by the IRS. Additionally we concentrated on developing our membership. I am very pleased with our first year - we must continue this momentum in 2003. Our goals for this upcoming year are as follows:

Col. Hank McCann, Blue Hen Chapter President, addresses members at the quarterly social.

1. Renew our first year members and grow total membership to 150.

2. Develop the operational abilities of our committees. It is critical that we engage more members and provide more services to them.

3. Publish our newsletter at least twice a year.

4. Host at least 2 socials and a summer BBQ with the intent of building camraderie as we raise funds and conduct chapter business.

5. Hold our annual election in November with new members being elected to the Board.

6. Recommend deserving individuals for appropriate SCRA or Chapter awards."

This task force sponsors the resolutions that promote the modernization of the ARNG C4I systems.
