to S-1, 198th

The 261st Signal Brigade bid farewell to 1st Lt. Samantha Kabi, who will transition into the S-1 (Personnel Officer) position at HHD, 198th Signal Battalion in June. Kabi, an Adjutant General officer from the Army Reserves, had been assigned as the Aide-De-Camp for Brig. Gen. James Dougherty after joining the Delaware National Guard last April. General Dougherty commented that Kabi has been a tremendous asset to the 261st. She has a strong background in administration and personnel arenas; and will be a strong asset as the S-1 of the 198th Signal Battalion. During an informal ceremony at the 198th Readiness Center, 1st Lt. Kabi was presented an Army Commendation Medal (ARCOM) – for outstanding performance while serving as the Aide-de-Camp for the 261st Signal Brigade Commander.
