Photo by By Master Sgt. Keith Strouss . The annual Delaware Air Guard Retirees’ Breakfast was held at the New Castle County Airport on Friday, September 13. Organized by Headquarters, Delaware Air National Guard, Maj. Lisa Smith was the key contact. This event serves as a special opportunity where several dozen retirees reunite with sometimes long unseen unit members, and mix with former colleagues who serve still. These retirees may be "out of uniform," but the former members always stand at attention, hand over heart when the base honor guard displays the American Flag.
