The Commander

The Family Program helps commanders enhance unit readiness by minimizing training distracters and conserving the commander’s time and resources. A successful Family Program helps enhance individual readiness by preventing family problems that can affect the service member’s performance. The Family Program is a good reason for good soldiers to stay in the Guard.

The Service Member

The Family Program assures the service member that loved ones will have support and assistance in times of absence. Service members train more effectively knowing there won’t be problems waiting at home when they return.
