Volunteer Opportunities and
Training
As Master Trainers you will be required to:
- Serve as Ambassadors for the Army
Family Team Building Program by showing goodwill, being a team
player and working your local program for at least one year.
- Serve as Spokesperson in accordance to
the needs of your location.
- Represent Army Family Team Building in a
positive manner at all times.
- Assist in recruiting and training
Instructors to teach the Family Member training - Levels I, II and
III.
- When required, teach Levels I, II, and
III.
- Assist in recruiting students to attend
local Family Member training.
- Always work within protocol and your
chain of command.
- Inform key members of the chains of
command and concern about on-going initiatives of the AFTB
program.
- Protect the integrity of the program and
the founding principle of "Standardized training material".
- Provide feedback to the CFSC-AFTB staff
through your chain of command.
- Provide volunteer management and
leadership as appropriate.
- Participate on the local AFTB advisory
council when appropriate.
- Share information and materials you
receive.
- Utilize your local resources and
agencies.
- Assist Instructors in your local
communities to develop plans to involve junior enlisted and junior
officer spouses in AFTB classes.
- Share your experience and expertise.
- Respect all members of America's Army:
Active, Reserve, and Guard.
- Work in moderation to prevent burn-out.
- Come to training informed, open minded
and ready to share.
- Allow yourself to grow and Have Fun.
