Volunteer Opportunities and Training

 


As Master Trainers you will be required to:

  1. Serve as Ambassadors for the Army Family Team Building Program by showing goodwill, being a team player and working your local program for at least one year.
  2. Serve as Spokesperson in accordance to the needs of your location.
  3. Represent Army Family Team Building in a positive manner at all times.
  4. Assist in recruiting and training Instructors to teach the Family Member training - Levels I, II and III.
  5. When required, teach Levels I, II, and III.
  6. Assist in recruiting students to attend local Family Member training.
  7. Always work within protocol and your chain of command.
  8. Inform key members of the chains of command and concern about on-going initiatives of the AFTB program.
  9. Protect the integrity of the program and the founding principle of "Standardized training material".
  10. Provide feedback to the CFSC-AFTB staff through your chain of command.
  11. Provide volunteer management and leadership as appropriate.
  12. Participate on the local AFTB advisory council when appropriate.
  13. Share information and materials you receive.
  14. Utilize your local resources and agencies.
  15. Assist Instructors in your local communities to develop plans to involve junior enlisted and junior officer spouses in AFTB classes.
  16. Share your experience and expertise.
  17. Respect all members of America's Army: Active, Reserve, and Guard.
  18. Work in moderation to prevent burn-out.
  19. Come to training informed, open minded and ready to share.
  20. Allow yourself to grow and Have Fun.
