Officer Candidate Requirements

• Age: 18-41. Must be commissioned before 42 years of age (No waiver available)
• Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen (No waiver available)
• Education: 60 college semester hours required to enroll, 90 to receive commission
• Medical: Must pass a physical examination IAW AR 40-501, Chapter 2 Commissioning Physical prior to first day of Officer Candidate School (OCS)
• Fitness: Must pass the Army Physical Fitness Test (APFT) as well as meet height and weight requirements
• Clearance: Must be eligible to obtain a SECRET security clearance
