The Signal TASS battalion is the link between the SME and the state Signal companies in each state. The 1st STB was first established in February of 2009 and currently oversees six 25B10 courses and eight 25U10 courses in nine states. The Signal TASS battalion is ultimately responsible for ensuring the companies follow and implement Signal training IAW the CMP and all other regulatory guidance. The Signal TASS battalion has coordinating authority over Signal companies within their area.
