STUDENT INFORMATION

Student Applications: It is the responsibility of your unit to assist you in completing your OCS application. The bulk of the work will be done by the RTI during the January orientation weekend. Applications must be forwarded to the RTI by mid-February, in order to appear before the candidate selection board, in March. A guide for the OCS Applicant can be obtained at your unit or by contacting the RTI. The items to be included in your application are listed on the checklist with the OCS application package, and are listed below:

1. DD Form 214 (Prior Active Service)

2. Proof of GT Score (110 or Higher)

3. NGB Form 62, Application for Federal Recognition

4. Copy of Social Security Card

5. Copy of Birth Certificate

6. Copy of SF Form 86 submitted for security clearance.

7. Civil/military conviction request for waiver (if applicable)

8. Official college transcripts showing you have at least 60 semester college credit hours.

Reporting In: Once the selection board has met, you will be notified of the results. If accepted, you will be given information for the start of Phase 0.

Pay: After the first MUTA of Phase I, you will be attached for pay and administration to the RTI. The pay grade for all candidates will be E6.
